 ed) to worship the God of liberating love and to be nourished and sent to 
 reflect that love and justice and peace in our lives and world.\nIf you ca

 d sceptics. We come with a passionate faith and with wounded hearts. We co
 me. knowing that God meets us right where we are!   We also have AbbeyKi
 ds most Sundays for our younger AbbeyChurch-ers.\nWe accept all at Jesus' 
 table of communion.  We welcome and are enriched by the full participatio
 n\, leadership and inclusion of LGBTQ2IA+ folks in our community.  The Ab
 beyChuch performs marriages with all sexual orientations and gender identi
 ties.\nThe AbbeyChurch is a Christ-centred\, Trinitarian ministry of the n
 eo-monastic Emmaus Community which seeks to live out faith daily\, not j
 ust on Sundays though commitments to prayer\, presence and simplicity.\nAs
  a community we pray together most weekdays and seek to live lives of hosp
 itality including with those on the margins of our society.\nAs a communit
 y we have a commitment to prayer\, presence and simplicity. AbbeyChurch me
 mbers are welcome to participate in the life of the Emmaus Community as th
 ey wish.\nWe are a shared ministry of the Anglican Diocese of British Col
 umbia (aka Diocese of Islands and Inlets) and the Pacific Mountain Regio
 n of The United Church of Canada. We are in full communion with the Ev
 angelical Lutheran Church in Canada (via the ACC) and the Christian Church
  (Disciples of Christ) via the UCC.\nWe also connect with the NewLeaf Net
 work\, The LeaderShift Church Planting Project\, Centre for Missional Lead
 ership (Ecumenical Church Planting Gatherings)\, The Wild Church Network -
  and the Parish Collective.
